Material Type

Several validated materials models are available

TPU: Thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) is a melt-processable thermoplastic elastomer with high durability and flexibility.

Nylon 6 (PA 6): Polyamide or Nylon is abbreviated as PA, it is by far the most used polyamides globally. They are used in many applications due to their excellent performance/cost ratios.

Aluminum (AlSi10Mg): is a widely used alloy that combines light weight and good mechanical properties.

Stainless Steel (316L): is one of the most commonly used stainless steels alloys in metal additive manufacturing due to its well-balanced mix of both mechanical and welding properties

Titanium (Ti6Al4V): is a high-performance titanium alloy characterized by excellent mechanical properties with a low specific weight and good corrosion resistance.

Run Simulation

Runs a displacement controlled simulation on the part designed in the app. The part lower boundary will be fixed. A rigid plate will be displaced to compress the part in a quasi static manner.
